Banjarbaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Banjarbaru City represented by the Syamsudin Noor Urban Village won the national level Pakarti Utama I award for best practicing in clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) for the category of city in 2019.
The award was presented by Chairwoman of TP PKK Center Erni Guntarti Tjahjo Kumolo to the TP PKK Banjarbaru Chairwoman Ririen Nadjmi Adhani at the Mahligai Pancasila Building Banjarmasin as part of the commemoration of National Family Day in South Kalimantan. The Banjarbaru Public Relations reported this in a press release received by Antara Saturday.
Ririen hopes this award will motivate the community to conduct clean and healthy living behaviors, both in Syamsudin Noor Village and throughout the Banjarbaru.
"This award is not the final goal, but as a trigger for the spirit to move better and begins with the awareness of maintaining a clean and healthy environment for the common good," she said.

According to the wife of the Mayor of Banjarbaru, TP PKK was very active in carrying out population activities, family planning and family development, and socializing a healthy lifestyle. Including practicing 10 indicators of healthy living, such as giving birth must be helped by health workers, giving exclusive baby breastfeeding for 6 months, using clean water, washing hands with soap.
