Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Regent Tabalong Anang Syakhfiani received an honorary award Satya Lencana Pembangunan from the Indonesian President for his dedication in the population, family planning, and family development.
The award was presented by the Coordinating Human Development and Culture Minister Puan Maharani at the height of National Family Day (Harganas) in Banjarbaru, Saturday.
"This award is a form of appreciation for the commitment of the regional head to advance the population and family planning (KB) program," said Puan.
She hopes this honor can increase commitment in advancing the quality of Indonesian population and family.
Besides Tabalong Regency the same award was also given to the South Hulu Sungai Regency.

After receiving the honorary sign, Regent Anang Syakhfiani thanked all parties who have worked hard until they received this honor.
This can not be separated from the success of the Tabalong District Government to collect more than five thousand new KB participants and establish the office of the Family Planning Agency DP3AP2KB.
"This achievement is thanks to the participation of all parties, especially family planning officers, sub-district heads, village heads, urban village heads and PKK teams," said Anang.
