Kotabaru Regional Secretary Said Ahmad continues to remind and invite people to obey taxes.
"The 2021 Kotabaru Budget (APBD) still depends on the revenue obtained from the central government generated by taxes," he said while attending role model and payment movement for urban and rural land and building tax (PBB-P2) at the Siring Laut field in Kotabaru, Thursday.
He said the largest contributor to locally derived income (PAD) comes from local taxes, thus it is necessary to take steps to maximize tax management performance.
The role model and payment movement for PBB-P2 are one of the implementations to increase awareness and concern in implementing tax rights and obligations.
"High commitment is needed to the performance of local government agencies related to tax management because the taxes paid will be returned to the community for local development," Said pointed out.
