Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, government held a collective effort or traditionally known as gotong-royong in what so called as "Jumat bersih" or clean Friday to remove trash and debris in the area of Stagen Kotabaru General Hospital.
Kotabaru Deputy Regent Syairi Mukhlis said this cleanup action is a preparation activity for the continuation of Stagen Hospital construction.
“Today we specifically clean the location of the existing building that will soon be completed,” he said in Kotabaru, Friday.
The cleanup action was aimed at growing a sense of responsibility for all, how important it is to maintain a clean environment to ceate a sense of comfort and calm.
All parties have agreed with Sebuku Tanjung Coal (STC) that all new building in the Stagen Hospital are fully funded with compensation funds.
"We hope the completion in June 2026 is on target, later Pangeran Jaya Sumitra Hospital will move to this hospital," he expounded.
The "Jumat bersih" action involved the regional work units (SKPDs) to clean the environment around the hospital.
