Kandangan, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Deputy Regent of South Hulu Sungai (HSS) Syamsuri Arsyad received a team from the Lambung Mangkurat University's Faculty of Medicine (FK-ULM) and Ulin General Hospital to the District Hospital of Brigadier General H. Hasan Basry Kandangan.
Director of the hospital Hj Rasyidah in Kandangan Saturday (2/2) said, the guest visit is to see the readiness of the Hasan Basry Hospital to became a teaching hospital.
"The FK-ULM will send medical students to the District Hospital of Brigadier General H. Hasan Basry to gain knowledge and help resolve cases here," she said.
Deputy Regent Syamsuri Arsyad hoped the visit of the ULM Faculty of Medicine team would provide optimal benefits, especially in the preparation of the H Hasan Basry Hospital as a type B education hospital.
"The District Hospital of Brigadier General Hasan Basry can later act as a place of education for educational institutions, which plays a role in producing health workers who are good and quality, until they can answer the demands of the service today and in the future," he said.
