LKBN Antara, Bapas open opportunities for cooperation

Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The National News Agency (LKBN) Antara of South Kalimantan Bureau and Correctional Centers (Bapas) Class I Banjarmasin open opportunities for cooperation.


Monday (1/21) afternoon, Head of the South Kalimantan Bureau Nurul Aulia Badar visited Banjarmasin's Bapas Head Bagus Kurniawan at his office on Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani Km 5.5 in East Banjarmasin.

"We are grateful for the visit of friends from Antara. Hopefully, this meeting can be followed up with the agreement," Bagus said.

According to Bagus, Antara as a news agency certainly can help his party in the publication of every activity or program carried out. In order, the community will increasingly know and understand the duties and functions of Bapas.

"A lot of things can actually be explored from Bapas who have played a role in helping develop the law in South Kalimantan," he said.

Bagus ensures that, as a work unit in the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in South Kalimantan, his ranks continue to innovate till they can truly serve the community well.

"According to the spirit of our tagline 'We Must Be Successful', our target in 2019 can be implemented that we always the best," he said.

The Banjarmasin Bapas work area consists of eight prisons scattered in Banjarmasin, Banjarbaru, Banjar Regency, Barito Kuala, Tanah Laut, Tanah Bumbu and Kotabaru.

Among the duties and functions of Bapas are guiding, assisting and supervising inmates who obtain assimilation or social integration (outside guding), both on leave to visit family, parole or leave before free.

Also guiding, assisting and supervising naughty children who are based on court decisions conditionally sentenced, criminal supervision, criminal penalties, surrendered to the state and must take compulsory work training.

Meanwhile, Nurul Aulia Badar revealed, his side offered cooperation through various innovations to support communication and information about the activities of the partner in hopes of gaining a positive response and community support.

"We have access to media that has now been accessed by the public at more than 5,000 page views per day, namely http://kalsel.antaranews.com with convergent journalism, a complete media product in one place including text, photos, and videos," Olly, Nurul Aulia Badar's nickname,  said.

The newest product South Kalimantan Bureau of Antara is TV streaming on the Youtube channel and various other social media, such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter with the name Antara TV Portal South Kalimantan.
