Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Minamas Plantation through PT Bersama Sejahtera Sakti (PT BSS)-Maju Bersama Plasma (MBP), plasma farmers and Pantai Timur Estate (PTE) distributed food aid to residents of Kotabaru District, South Kalimantan Province.
"Five villages around the company received benefits: Bekambit, Bekambit Asri, Sejakah, Batu Tunau, and Tanjung Pengharapan," said Head of Bekambit Asri Village Sutrisno here on Wednesday.
It was part of PT BSS's CSR program for Ramadan 1447 Hijri, which took place on March 17-18, 2026, few days before Eid al-Fitr.
The aid, 30 basic food package and 1,000 kg of rice, was distributed to elderly and underprivileged residents, based on official data from each village head.

"We express our gratitude and support this sustainable CSR program," he said, appreciating concern shown by Plasma Management and PT BSS to his residents, especially the elderly and it brought joy to them ahead of Eid.
This CSR program also received full support from CEO of KSS Region Muhamad Japri Giman, and Chairman of Bersama Sejakah Makmur Village Cooperative (KUD BSM) Samsul Bahri.
The activity aligned with performance of smallholder farmers which continues to improve both in production and profitability.
On this accasion, MBP and PTE team interacted directly with the aid recipients.

Residents expressed their gratitude and prayers for Minamas Plantation–PT BSS's success, production increasing, and wider benefits for community surrounding the company.
Minamas Plantation Group is part of SD Guthrie Berhad, Malaysia. Established in April 2001, it operates in eight provinces in Indonesia, with a total area of approximately 216,000 hectares.
At least 174,000 hectares, or approximately of the total area, are planted with oil palm.
With 59 plantations and 19 mills in Sumatra, Kalimantan and Sulawesi, Minamas Plantation employs nearly 22.000 workers across Indonesia.
