Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - SMP Muhammadiyah Kotabaru in Kotabaru District, South Kalimantan, held a Tahfidz Fest at the Mount Meranti attraction.
The school principal Abdurrahman said the activities in Tahfidz Fest aim to motivate and encourage students' enthusiasm to memorize the noble Al-Quran as well as to equip them with knowledge and experiences from the activities.
"Tahfidz Fest is part of the school programs that have been structered and planned," he said in a written statement here, Friday.

Held from October 11 to 13, 2024, various activities packaged in an intimate atmosphere in open air.
Their activities include congregational prayers, short religious lecture, isti'dad, murojaah, murotal Quran, morning exercise, outbond, pensi, hifdzil Quran quizzing and others.
A total of 48 students from grade 7 to 9 took part. They were accompanied by 14 teachers.
The school principal hopes that by requiring students to take part in this activity, it can have a positive impact on students, and increase their faith and devotion to Allah Subhanahu WaTaala.
