Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 26/12 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Head of Class I Banjarmasin Immigration Purwadi said 127 foreign workers (WNA) who worked at PT Conch all have permits.
"We've been doing the checking and monitoring of their whereabouts and they are known to have pocketed Limited Stay Permit (ITAS)," said Purwadi when receiving a visit from the PT Conch Inquiry Committee from Tabalong Legislative Council (DPRD).
He explained that the Immigration Class I Banjarmasin in 2016 has three times carried out control operation jointly with relevant agencies.
"The inquiry Committee also asked the data of foreigners in PT Conch Cement South Kalimantan. We have given the data to the committee," he said.
In addition, the head of immigration also asked the public to play an active role if they found foreigners working and living in South Kalimantan.
"The Immigration can not do full supervision, so we asked for the active role and help of the community to provide a report on the presence of foreigners," he said.
