Banjarmasin, S Kalimatan (ANTARA) - The House of Representatives' (DPR RI's) Commission II member Aida Muslimah and the Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Ministry/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) handed over 10 land certificates during the dissemination of the complete systematic land registration program (PTSL) in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan.
"DPR has a duty and authority to support the strategic program of ATR Ministry/BPN, including PTSL," Aida said to ANTARA in Banjarmasin, Saturday (May 4, 2024).
She reminded BPN office to collaborate with the local government because the success of PTSL does not depend on the ministry only, there is also the role of the local government and the community.

The people's representative from the electoral district (dapil) of South Kalimantan 2 also reminded the community to install land boundary markers so that crucial land disputes and problems do not arise.
Through PTSL program it is hoped, she added, that the government will be able to carry out massive and complete land registration so that people can legally obtain the residents' land right through certificates.
Head of BPN Office South Kalimantan Abdul Azis said that obtaining land certificate is easy if five conditions are met, namely there is land, clear boundaries and size, proof of ownership, no dispute, and administration cost paid off.
PTSL is a free land certification program provided by the government to the community with the aim of providing legal certainty for land owners.
