The management of PT PLN Main Distribution Unit (UID) for South and Central Kalimantan launched "ManBill University" as it strives to realize service challanges, making various innovation to become "Top 500 Global Company" and the number one choice for customers.
It also serves as energy solution to stimulate the management of the state-owned electricity firm which oversees South and Central Kalimantan regions, Public Related of PT PLN South-Central Kalimantan noted in a statement in Banjarbaru, Saturday.
PLN internal business process training class was held by PLN UPDL (Training and Education Unit) Banjarbaru with the aim of improving capabilities and quality of frontline officers, namely biller (billman) from PLN work partners.

General Manager of PT PLN South and Central Kalimantan Muhammad Joharifin said this was the first time the management held the activity because billmen have very important role for PLN.
"Refreshment and provision of capability and capacity for officers is a routine agenda for PLN. This time is specifically for billmen who have customers management service function, such as meter reading, receivable collection and others," he said.
The first ManBill University was attended by 700 participants face to face and online from four partner companies.
"We as the management of PLN South and Central Kalimantan feel proud of the implementation of ManBill University , which is being held for the first time in Indonesia. It was also held thanks to good collaboration with UPDL and our partner companies," he said.

Joharifin said, billman is required to have competence in accordance with PLN service quality standards, thereby requiring partners to comply with this obligations. ManBill University is the main choice for them as workforce training and skill institution.
"This activity is a mutual beneficial solution between PLN and partners, so please make the most of it. Learn the material at ManBill University so that the skills and performance of officers continue to improve, as well as better service to customers," he said.
Joharifin added that Billing University Management program will maximize the performance of billman officers, resulting in increased company performance, as well as "customer experience" that will be increasingly felt by customers and PLN's vision to be the Top 500 Global Company can soon be achieved.
