Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Chairman of People's Representative Council (DPRD) of Kotabaru, South Kalimantan, Syairi Mukhlis said that the Spatial Information System (SIMTARU) app helps the public, especially business people, to know the availability of space in the local area.
"People can access to find out about areas in Kotabaru, is it plantation, housing, as well as business or non-business places through SIMTARU," said Sairi Mukhlis here, Tuesday.
Syairi said that the app introduced by the Kotabaru Public Works and Spatial Planning Office (PUPR) is an access breakthrough for people who want to do business.
They can access information about areas in every sub-districts if they want to place their business at any place.

"In the future (hopefully) it can be connected directly to the One Stop Integrated Service and Investment (PTSP). Thus this can create a more efficient investment climate," he said.
Moreover, SIMTARU (https://simtaru.kotabarukab.go.id/)
can be accessed not only from Kotabaru, but from outside region such as foreign entrepreneurs can also access to invest in Kotabaru.
”Hopefully with the launch of SIMTARU it can be better equipped, so that it will become a leading aps in Kotabaru,” he said.
Head of Kotabaru PUPR Office Suprapti Tri Astuti said this app is launched to provide easiness to the public, both individual or business entities, regarding information, if they want to build a business place.
