Pelaihari, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - South Kalimantan Dayak Customary Council (DAD Kalsel) together with the National Dayak Customary Council (MADN) have informed issues of customary land in Kalimantan to the Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Ministry/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN).
"Our audience with the MADN was received by (ATR/BPN) Minister on Monday, May 15 at his office," said Chairman of South Kalimantan DAD Abdul Kadir here on Wednesday.
He said some issues related to customary land conflicts, especially in South Kalimantan, had been conveyed to ATR/BPN Minister Hadi Tjahjanto.
"Minister welcomed our audience and he paid attention to the issues," said Kadir, who is also Deputy Chairman of the South Kalimantan Pemuda Panca Marga (PPM Kalsel).
In addition to ATR/BPN Ministry, South Kalimantan DAD also met the General Chairman of Central Board of Pemuda Panca Marga (PP-PPM) Berto Uzaak Doko.
"Accompanied by Chairman of South Kalimantan Board of (PD) PPM Mahlan and Sukma Firdaus, we were received by General Chair of PP-PPM Berto Uzaak Doko," he said.
During the meeting, Kadir revealed, DAD was invited together to bring back the 1945 national soul and spirit (JSN).
"PP PPM invites the younger generation of Dayak tribe together fostering the love for the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) through basic military training (latsarmil) and other forms," he said.
Kadir hopes that the audiance will be beneficial for South Kalimantan DAD and will have a positive impact on residents of Dayak Tribe.
Kadir said that there were several conflicts over customary lands in South Kalimantan that could be resolved by DAD properly and peacefully together with security forces.
