Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (Kemenpupera) asked for Detail Engineering Designl (DED) and environmental impact analyzes (EIA or Amdal) of Kotabaru bridge construction.
Member of Commission III DPRD South Kalimantan overseeing development and infrastructure H Fikri here on Monday revealed at least three things requested related to the bridge construction when the commission consulted to Kemenpupera in Jakarta last week.
The first request, the DED, then the results of the feasibility study and post-construction plan of Strait of Laut Island Kotabaru bridge (300 kilometers east Banjarmasin).
"If all the requests are met, then the Kemenpupera go to the field to check, including the security level of the existence of the transportation infrastructure," he said via mobile phone to AntaranewsKalsel quoting Kemenpupera.
The additional, he continued, should be the statement/commitment from the provincial government and district government of Tanah Bumbu and Kotabaru, where the point of the bridge construction.
"The result of check by Kemenpupera as well as data completeness will be central government consideration to provide assistance to finance the bridge which connecting the mainland of Kalimantan to Laut Island (Kotabaru)," he said.
But clearly, said representatives of the people, the central government or in this case Kemenpupera until now has not been allocated in the State Budget (APBN) the financing plan of the Kotabaru bridge construction.
Chairman of the Democratic Party faction hoped that members of DPR electoral districts of this province also fighting for financing the construction of Kotabaru bridge that has long been the desire of local communities.
"We are optimistic by the unity between those in local and friends who were at the central level, God willing Kotabaru bridge will be materialized," said Fikri.
According to the plan, the construction of the bridge with a span of about six kilometers is using the sharing system of financing, namely provincial government (Rp500 billion), Kotabaru and Tanan Bumbu (respectively Rp250 billion), then the remaining is expected from central government.
