Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - South Kalimantan Hajj prospective pilgrims (JCH) are again asked to be patient to accept the government's decision not to send Hajj pilgrims to the Holy Land this year.
Head of South Kalimantan Office of Religious Affairs Ministry (Kanwil Kemenag) H Noor Fahmi here on Thursday said that the government through the Religious Affairs Minister announced today not to send Hajj pilgrims this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fahmi said that the government decision is very clear that the main and the most basic point of suspending the departure of Indonesian Hajj pilgrims this year is regarding the safety of the pilgrims.
