Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (AntaranewsKalsel) - State Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning/Chairman of National Land Agency Ferry Mursyidan Baldan submitted 26,900 land certificates to citizens of South Kalimantan in the 2014 National Agrarian Operations Project (Prona).
"I remind for control of delivery of Prona certificates to public not to be hampered," said Ferry in Kotabaru, on Saturday.
Ferry symbolically handed over Prona certificates to seven residents of Kotabaru. It is recorded 2,900 Kotabaru residents get Prona certificate during 2014.
Prona is an asset legalization policy in the form of adjudication process of land administration, land registration until issuance of certificate/proof of rights to land and held in bulk.
Ferry expressed the Prona implementation has so far through sector or areas approach such as small and medium businesses, fishermen, farmers, and low-income people.
In 2015, the Ministry of Agricultural and Spatial/BPN will change the pattern of Prona into territorial policy per village or sub-district.
Ferry hopes Prona help people to get the legalization of land rights they occupy. "No more difficult to obtain public land, certificates, recognition of ownership of land and many of them pay taxes," said Ferry.
