Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) -
The city government of Banjarmasin received a school bus as a grant from the Ministry of Transportation.
The bus, which can accommodate 18 students, was an aspiration and support from a member of House of Representative's Commission V HM Rifqinizamy Karsayuda from South Kalimantan together with the Ministry of Transportation.
Rifqinizamy said one of the reason that the Banjarmasin City Government received the grant was that it has carried out a good land transportation governance.
“We should appreciate the Banjarmasin City Government, especially our friends at the Transportation Agency, because they have implemented a good governance of land transportation, always receiving Wahana Tata Nugraha award from the Ministry of Transportation,” he said, Tuesday.
The Mayor expressed his appreciation and gratitude for Rifqinizamy paying attention to the city of Banjarmasin.
“I on the behalf of the Banjarmasin City Government express my gratitude and highest appreciation to HM Rifqinizamy Karsayuda, who has been very concerned with the city of Banjarmasin. In fact, not only the bus school that we receive today, previously there was also his support and assistance,” he said.
He hopes the bus school to make it easier for school students when face-to-face learning is allowed. “Hopefully this is a blessing and also for our school children hopefully it can be used later when it comes to face-to-face learning, so we can support the cheerful public transportation program,” he said.
