Paringin, South Kalimantan (Kalimantan Antaranews) - The National Narcotics Agency of Balangan, South Kalimantan, keep it action to prevent and combating drug trafficking and abuse in the region.
The head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Balangan AKBP Abdul Muttalib in Paringin on Saturday said a number of schools have been visited as effort to prevention and combating drug trafficking and abuse in the world of education. Students, he said, did not escape from the target of drug trafficking and should receive special attention.
After visiting a number of schools in Paringin and Lampihong subditrict, BNN turn to State Junior High School 2 Awayan on Jalan Gunung Batu Raya, Tebing Tinggi Subdistrict.
During the visit, BNN gives knowledge to the students about the negative effects of drugs. BNN also do a urine test to 100 students and educators in the school.
"The number of urine test participants are 100 students, plus the educators. The results is no student and teacher found positive with drug," he said.
He said he would continue to make visits to the various schools in Balangan, in order to provide knowledge on the effects and dangers of drug abuse and conduct urine test at the same time.
"We will continue to trim the movement of drug trafficking and abuse, until we can really eradicate for the sake of the future of the nation, and it is expected the participation of teachers and parents in guiding children not to be involved," he said.
Headmaster of SMP Negeri 2 Awayan Akhilin Amisos Spd MM through his Deputy Isnawati revealed very welcome action by the National Narcotics Agency of Balangan.
