Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan (Antaranews) - Banjarbaru Health Agency distributed 16 thousand maskers as smog blanketed the city since the last week.
Head of Health Problems Countermeasures (PMK) of the agency, Noor Ifansyah, here on Wednesday said maskers distributed to eight Community Health Centers (known here as Puskesmas).
Here they have many visitors as respiratory diseases patients increasing. The eight Puskesmas located in areas mostly covered with smog.
Over the last two days, the City of Banjarbaru blanketed with thin smog allegedly caused by peatland and bushfire the previous day until the next day turned into smog.
