Batulicin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - As many as 65 patients recovered from the novel coronavirus disease in Tanah Bumbu after several weeks of treatment and special quarantine.
Daily Chief of the Tanah Bumbu Task Force for COVID-19 H.Rooswandi Salem here on Wednesday said patient recovered from this highly contagious disease continued to increase. It certainly became good news for us all that we can fight the disease.
"The number of patients recovering continues to increase and has brought the total patients recovered in Tanah Bumbu to 103 people," he stated.
While the number of People Under Monitoring (ODP) 44, 1 Patient Under Surveillance (PDP), 140 confirmed positive, 34 under treatment, 103 had recovered, and 3 died.
Although the number of recoveries kept increasing, the local government continued to remind all levels of society not to be careless and remain to implement health protocol.
The discipline in carrying out health protocol is very important to prevent transmission of COVID-19.
"We urge all people to continue to wear masks when doing activities outside, keep a distance, wash hands with soap and running water," Rooswandi concluded.
