Banjarmasin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - PT Adaro Indonesia brought in two imported ventilators from abroad for the COVID-19 referral hospital Ulin Regional Hospital in Banjarmasin.

Dr Hj Suciati stated, the assistance of two ventilators from PT Adaro Indonesia was very helpful for Ulin Hospital as one of the referral hospital for COVID-19 patient.
"We already have 10 ventilators, (now) becoming 12 ventilators with the help of PT Adaro," she said.
Suciati informed that the province's Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) will also assist with 10 ventilators.
"At this time, if it's not enough, we can use ICU's ventilator, so everything can be served," Suciati explained.
According to her, Ulin Banjarmasin Hospital is now treating about 64 COVID-19 positive patients, maximum effort are made to cure patients.
The completeness of personal protective equipment (PPE) for medical personnel serving COVID-19 patients here, according to her, is sufficient.
Meanwhile, Abdurrahman said, the handover of two units of ventilators was as a commitment of PT Adaro Indonesia to work together with the government in handling COVID-19 to disappear.
"We hope that this assistance will be useful and that patients treated here to recover quickly," he said.
