PT SDM provides madrasah renovation in Banjar's Sungai Musang Village

Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - PT Sarana Daya Mandiri (SDM), part of PT Adaro Logistics Group, has inaugurated its assistance to renovate an Islamic school Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah in Sungai Musang Village, Aluh Aluh Sub-district, Banjar District, South Kalimatan. 

PT SDM Director Happy Danni said that the assistance was a form of the company's commitment in supporting development of education facilities and infrastucture in Sungai Musang Village.

"We hope this renovation provide more comfort and motivation for student to learn," said Happy Dani, Thursday.

He considered collaboration between the company and communiy in developing education is very important to create a sustainable positive impact considering education is an important foundation for progress and PT SDM  to contribute through its CSR.

The company hopes this program to be the first step of its various other initiatives that will continue to be carried out for the progress of the community.

Head of Sungai Musang Village Masrani expressed his appreciation to PT SDM for its assistance which was very useful for supporting learning activities of madrasah students.

"The madrasah renovation is very meaningful for the community and students and we are grateful for PT SDM's attention and support in helping improve the quality of education in this village," he said.

Chairman of Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Foundation Husen Qadri also expressed his gratitude for the school renovation assistance could encourage students to be more enthusiastic in pursuing knowledge.

The renovation provided include raising the school building to overcome the risk of flooding, repairing classrooms to make them comfortable to use and repairing road access to more appropriate toilets. 

With the completion of this project, it is hoped that the madrasah will be able to provide more conducive learning atmosphere to support student achievements.
