Pelaihari, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - One more coronavirus positive patient recovered after being treated at the District Hospital of Hadji Boejasin Pelaihari, Tanah Laut District.
Tanah Laut Regent H Sukamta saw TB-01 code patient from Tanah Bumbu District off to the family who was waiting to pick him up, Saturday (April 25, 2020).
TB-01 was declared to recover after his swab test or laboratory examination with a high accuracy resulted in negative COVID-19.
Doctors and medical personnel stood in a row to see off TB-01 as he exited the isolation room in a wheelchair.
The patient, who was treated for three weeks, received applause and congratulations from the medical staff and the ranks of the hospital on his recovery.
“I was helpless, unable to eat and drink, but doctors and medical staff here were helping to feed me, so I can continue to eat and drink, very friendly, like caring for a baby,” TB-01 said with tears in his eyes.
The District Head of Tanah Laut H Sukamta felt moved in the patient release procession. He expressed his gratitude, because of the four positive patients in Hadji Boejasin Hospital two had been declared cured.

"I thank and sincere appreciation for the performance of all medical officers and staff of this hospital who fought hard, providing good service for the healing of patients with COVID-19. We hope that the two other patients will also recover,” Kamta hoped.
On that occasion, Sukamta handed over recovering documents and gifts in the form of sasirangan cloth and typical food of Tanah Laut to TB-01.
Also present at the release of the patient was Head of Tanah Laut Health Office Hj Nina Sandra and Director of Hadji Boejasin Pelaihari Hospital Isna Farida and the ranks.
