The 1008 Tanjung Military Commander Lt.Col.Arm. Edy Susanto said the signing of the MoU was a proof that his ranks are ready to work together in combating drug.
"To deal with drug abuse it needs our attention and we are ready to synergize with the District Police and BNNK Tabalong," Edy remarked.

The signing of MoU was attended by Head of BNNK Tabalong Adj.Sr.Comr (AKBP) Husni Thamrin, and witnessed by the Kodim Chief of Staff, staff officers, and the local BNNK ranks.

The cooperation agreement included the Kodim 1008 Tanjung assistance to the BNNK in prevention, eradication, and trafficking of drug.

"The support of Kodim 1008 Tanjung ranks is very helpful to BNNK duty in combating drug considering the drug abuse case is quite high in this region and it need the support of all parties to reduce it," Husni pointed out.
