Banjarbaru, (Antaranews, South Kalimantan) - The government prepared Rp290 billion for land acquisition of Syamsudin Noor Airport expansion. So far it has used Rp194 billion funds.
"The funding that has been used was Rp194 billion, so the remaining is Rp96 billion," said General Manager of PT Angkasa Pura I airport Syamsudin Noor Akhmad Munir in Banjarbaru on Tuesday (2/4), on the sidelines of the opening of Post Center Acceleration Land Acquisition for Airport Expansion prepared by Land Acquisition Committee (P2T) Banjarbaru City in Jalan Tegal Arum Syamsudin Noor.
According to him, the rest of the airport land acquisition funds are still managed by the Ministry of State Owned Enterprises and can be withdrawn at any time if there is a payment of land acquisition required by PT Angkasa Pura (PT AP).
"The fund will be disbursed if the conditions for the payment of land acquired fulfilled, so that the owners of the land and the buildings do not have to worry about not getting paid," Munir said.
He said, PT AP only acted as paymaster in the process of land acquisition and full airport land acquisition to deliver technically to Land Acquisition Committee (P2T) Banjarbaru City.
The area required for the expansion of the airport is 99 hectares and so far 73.18 hectares area has been liberated. Liberation entirely targeted completion May, before the President came to South Kalimantan laying the first stone construction of the airport.
