Banjarmasin, (Antaranews, South Kalimantan) - Governor Rudy Ariffin hope Pertamina along with the central government immediately complete conversion of kerosene to gas in this area, because only four of the 13 counties and cities are converted.
According to him, the unfinished implementation of kerosene conversion to gas is one of the causes of the scarcity of gas and kerosene in Banjarmasin and other areas.
"The conversion of kerosene to gas must be realized in nine other districts, considering this conversion has been running in four districts," said the Governor in Banjarmasin, Friday (22/3).
Four counties and cities that have implemented the conversion are Banjarmasin, Banjar, Tanah Laut and Balangan.
Previously, gas shortages in South Kalimantan, especially for three-kilogram tubes allegedly triggered by gas ration Banjarmasin leaked to the neighboring regions, which should have the right to use subsidized gas or three kilograms gas. Despite not getting ration conversion, many people in the neighboring province using three-kilogram gas, so that distribution is expanding.
The same condition also occurs in the distribution of subsidized kerosene, which is supposed to Banjarmasin, but still widely circulated outside for allegedly supplied from other regions.
