The 123rd TNI Integrated Village Development (TMMD) Task Force of the Kotabaru/1004 Military Command (Kodim) opened up idle land into plantation to encourage economic growth for people in Talusi Village, Pamukan Selatan Sub-district, Kotabaru District.

“We open up one hectare of idle land to be used by residents for gardening. We hope this land will generate income for people in Talusi Village by farming,” said Commander of the 123rd TMMD Task Force Lt. Col. Inf. Bayu Oktavianto Sudibyo in Kotabaru, Monday.

He said this is one of many activities carried out by the 123rd TMMD Task Force organized by Kotabaru Kodim, including opening roads and food security.

The 123rd TMMD also renovating uninhabitable houses (RTLH)to be habitable, alleviating stunting, free nutritious meal (MBG) trial, health counseling, education counseling, and others.

Meanwhile, Talusi Village Head Noor Ahmadi expressed his gratitude and hoped that TMMD activities could continue in this village to encourage developement and community income.

“The village community is enthusiastic in working with TMMD Task Force open up idle land for gardening, as well as to help TNI completing various development targets,” said Ahmadi.

Ahmadi hoped that this TMMD will provide great benefits for villagers, not only economic benefits, but also health, welfare, social and other benefits.

The 123rd TMMD in Kotabaru takes place from February 19 to March 20, 2025. The supervisory team from the Army Headquarters (Mabes TNI AD) had also reviewed it to ensure the program is in target and on time according to the predetermined time target.
