Martapura, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - The Government of Banjar District, South Kalimantan, opened communication isolation in the Paramasan Subdistrict, which is the furthest area in the district.
Farid Soufian, Head of the Banjar Communications, Informatics, Statistics and Coding Agency, here Sunday said communication could be opened as the completion of the construction of the Base Transceiver Station (BTS).
"The construction of BTS is completed so that difficulties in communication has been overcomed, especially for two villages in Paramasan Subdistrict, namely Paramasan Bawah and Paramasan Atas Villages," he said.
In addition to the two villages, BTS is also built in Rantau Balai Village, Aranio Subdistrict, and Kiram Village in Karang Intan Subdistrict, which had been hampered by communication.
"The construction of BTS to make it easier for people to communicate via cell phone and they can call or send short messages," he said.
The opening of communication channels through cellular phones has been tested by Banjar Regent H Khalilurrahman and Regional Secretary Nasrun Syah who called the Head of Paramasan Atas Village and residents.
