Martapura, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Governor South Kalimantan Sahbirin Noor together with Regent Banjar Khalilurrahman officiated three public facilities in the Paramasan Sub-district, which is far from the capital, Sunday.
The local legislative council (DPRD) speaker Rusli, DPRD's Deputy Chairman M Iqbal, the District Secretary Nasrun Syah, and Chairwoman of Banjar Family Welfare Movement (TP PKK) Raudathul Wardiyah attended the ceremony.
The three facilities officiated were a Base Transceiver Station (BTS), people's market, and Islamic Center. Paramasan is known as a remote area which is located on the border.
Governor said all the developments in South Kalimantan, especially in Peramasan Subdistrict, were realized thanks to the synergy of the central, provincial, and district governments.
"All development programs carried out by the government will not materialize without the help and support of the community. So we ask the community to always support government programs," he said.
He hopes that the public facilities built can be utilized by the entire community and all must be maintained so as to provide benefits as planned.
The Regent Khalilurrahman was very grateful to the central government and the South Kalimantan Provincial Government for continuing to pay attention to the development in Banjar District, especially in Paramasan.
"The existence of BTS is very helpful for the community in communicating in addition to being able to be used by government officials to coordinate various problems that occur in the community," he said.
