Kandangan, S Kalimantan (Antaranews Kalsel) - Grandma Rusmini (66), a resident of Kandangan Kota village, who drowned in the Amandit River, has been found dead.
HSS Chief of Police Adj Sr Comr (AKBP) Dedy Eka Jaya through the Head of Public Relations First Insp (Iptu) H Gandhi Ranu S in Kandangan, Thursday (3/1), said the victim was found at 12.49 at the Simpang 4 in the Amandit River, Lungau Village, Kandangan Sub-District.
"The victim was evacuated and taken to the General Hospital of Brigjen H Hasan Basry Kandangan for post-mortem. Based on the post-mortem results and information from the doctor there were no signs of violence in the victim's body," he said.
Head of Kandangan Subdistrict Ronaldy P Putra said those who found the victim were volunteers of Baling-Baling Rescue (B2R) who were combing on the banks of the river. With the help of local residents, the bodies of the victim was pulled to the riverside to be taken to the hospital.
