Batulicin, (AntaranewsKalsel) - PT Borneo Indobara (BIB) coal company in Tanah Bumbu District, South Kalimantan, distributes CSR aid in the form of basic need, toiletries, clean water and medicine to the flood victims.
PT BIB Senior Manager of CSR and External Relation Dindin Makinudin in Batulicin said that as a form of corporate social responsibility towards the people affected by flood in Subdistrict of Angsana, the company disbursed CSR funds.
"There are 198 families (KK) affected by floods, and we make sure all get the basic food aid we have prepared," said Dindin.
He said the company had coordinated with the village administration to distribute the aid until the floods subsided.
It is estimated that all people affected by the flood need an average of 5000 liters of water per 3 days, and the company ensures that all clean water needs will be accommodated.
For long term handling related to the fulfillment of clean water needs, PT BIB through Community Development and Empowerment program (PPM) will realize Community-based water supply and sanitation (Pansimas) program in the villages.
The PPM of PT BIB prioritizes programs that support sustainable community self-sufficiency and the fulfillment of basic needs of the community, especially in the company's mining circle.
