Kandangan, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Hulu Sungai Selatan (HSS) Regent H Syafrudin Noor together with several regional heads from South Kalimantan met with Minister of Home Affairs (MOHA) Tito Karnavian in Jakarta, Monday, discussing various priority programs in the region.
The meeting was facilitated by Chairman of Commission II House of Representatives (DPR RI) Muhammad Rifqinizamy Karsayuda as part of the House's member role in South Kalimantan I electoral district to strengthening synergy between the central and the regional government.

"In the meeting with the Minister, we presented a number of proposed priority regional programs, and discuss the harmonization of regional government affairs," said HSS Regent in a statement released by HSS Administration's Protocol and Leadership Communication Division (Prokopim).
The meeting, he said, was an important opportunity to convey various needs and priority programs, so they are align with cental government policies.
The Regent said, the synergy between the central and regional government is essential to expedite development and improve public services.

“We hope that through this coordination, HSS will gain support for strategic programs which directly impact on development and community welfare,” he said.
Regional heads attending the meeting were Banjar Regent, Barito Kuala Regent, Tapin Regent, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regent, Hulu Sungai Utara, Balangan Regent, and Tabalong Regent.
Also present was the Ministry of Finance's Director General of Fiscal Balance, discussed synchronizing national strategic programs with regional development needs.
