Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 19/10 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Head of the South Kalimantan State Logistics Agency (Bulog) Dedy Supriadi stated that the agency guarantees the need for food in Rumah Pangan Kita (RPK) or Our Food House program in Banjarmasin which has 80 RPK.
Because, he said when he was at City Hall on Thursday, stock readiness on Bulog to support the RPK program is available as many as 15 thousand tons of rice, 400 tons of sugar, cooking oil 18 thousand liters.
He stated that the government through Bulog keep trying to make all the people of Indonesia can get cheap and affordable food prices.
Therefore, he continued, various efforts were made, such as embraces RPK in various regions, especially in this province which has 13 districts and cities.
Particularly in Banjarmasin, he said, already established 80 units of friends RPK, this number is quite a lot compared to other areas.
According to Dedy, the food price RPK program, especially sugar, cooking oil, rice, until LPG, are priced at the cheapest according to the price limit (HET) set by the government.
Of course, he added, the government wants the people to get food at a stable price without affecting the price fluctuation in the market.
"The price is certainly cheaper so that people can get food at cheap prices, and this will greatly help the middle to lower economy," he explained.
However, he said, it does not close the possibility for the public to shop here. To make shopping easier, RPK also prepares non-cash transactions in cooperation with BRI.
Meanwhile, Administration Expert of the municipal government Doyo Pudjadi revealed, the existence of RPK in Banjarmasin would be very helpful to the community, especially the middle to lower economic community.
