Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Kotabaru Office of Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) has patnered Gema Saijaan Radio of the district's Communication and Informatics Office (Diskomnfo).
Head of the Kotabaru Kemenag Dr Ahmad Kamal expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the district government of Kotabaru, the Regent, Deputy Regent, Diskominfo, and all parties supporting religious broadcast on the radio.
“This program is a means for us to broadcast information, spiritual guidance, and religious messages to the wider community. We are very grateful for this collaboration, as it reaches even remote villages and sub-districts,” he said here as reported on Tuesday.

He hopes that the regional broadcasting media to further stengthened, including its supporting facilities and infrastructure.
"This radio station serves as a voice for the community. Thank God, especially during the Hajj season, information from Mecca reaches the residents of Kotabaru. May it continue to exist, be successful, and be supported by improved infrastructure," he added.
He emphasizes that radio still holds vital position as dakwah medium, even as digital development continue to advance.
“I've been familiar with Gema Saijaan Radio since I was a child. Now it's on YouTube, access even easier. I hope it continue to thrive and grow,” he said.
Head of the Kemenag also highlighted the importance of fostering Quran recitation in Kotabaru. He emphasized that Quran recitation centers (LPTQ) as well as Quran education centers (TPA/TPQ) must stengthen guidance on ongoing basis, not just for the Quranic reading competition (MTQ).
