Batulicin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Regent of Tanah Bumbu, Andi Rudi Latif, stated that the Tanah Bumbu Regency Government is ready to support the acceleration of investment growth in South Kalimantan.
The Regent made his remarks after attending the recent launch of the BEKANTAN (which stands for Investing in South Kalimantan) app and the 2025 Investment Forum High-Level Meeting in Jakarta.
"The Tanah Bumbu government fully supports the South Kalimantan Provincial Government's strategic steps to accelerate investment and economic growth in the region," he emphasized.

Tanah Bumbu is also ready to contribute to making South Kalimantan a logistics gateway and a new center of economic growth in Kalimantan.
At the High-Level Meeting of the South Kalimantan Investment Forum, attended by regional heads from across the province, industrial estate managers, and representatives from the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) and the the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI), the Tanah Bumbu Government also outlined several investment potentials.
These include the integrated milkfish cultivation with a canning industry, animal feed processing industry and integrated snakehead fish cultivation with processing industry.
"The regional government hopes the BEKANTAN app will serve as a bridge for the local government and potential investors, both domestic and international. Easy access of information and tranparent process displays South Kalimantan readiness to be a leading investment destination in Indonesia," said the Regent.
