Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan 22/6 (AntaranewsKalsel) - The Central Banjarmasin Sector Police is ready to secure safe deposit entrusted by resident whose home is abandoned for homebound travelling (mudik) in Idul Fitri.
"Please bring the safe deposit to the sector police and check first the content," said Central Banjarmasin Police Chief Comr (Kompol) Uskiansyah here on Thursday.
He said there is no time limit for resident to entrust safe deposit and other property, such as car and motorcycle, for mudik in the holiday season.
"You want two to three months its okay, we will keep the treasures of homebound tranvellers entrusted in sector police," said the man who had served as head of Sabhara of Banjarmasin City Police.
Uski said, by entrusting property in sector police, the travelers goods will be safe from theft action.
"Every property entrusted will we make the news of the event and there is no time limit for care, and with no charge," said the officer who familiar with the media crew.
POlice will also increase patrols in the areas of homes of residents which are left for homecoming by their owners.
"Hopefully the community is safe and comfortable in the Lebaran holidays, be careful on the road and be alert that crime can be everywhere, check the luggage and do not use excessive jewelry," said Uski.
