Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan 6/6 (AntaranewsKalsel) - Head of Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) Representative of South Kalimantan Didi Budi Satrio guarantees unqualified opinion (WTP) given to local government without giving money.
"We guarantee there is no practice of money in the opinion given to the district and municipal governments throughout South Kalimantan," he said, in Banjarbaru on Monday, after the handover of investigative audit reports (LHP).
The statement answered questions regarding the allegation of money given to the WTP opinion of BPK as has happened involving auditors and officials of the Villages, Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration Ministry.
The question was asked because BPK Representative of South Kalimantan gave WTP opinion to all districts and cities government across South Kalimantan which consist of 11 regencies (Banjar, Kotabaru, South Hulu Sungai, Central Hulu Sungai, North Hulu Sungai, Barito Kuala, Tapin, Tabalong, Tanah Laut, Tanah Bumbu, Balangan) and two cities (Banjarmasin and Banjarbaru).
According to him, routine checks by BPK on local government financial reports conducted by employees and auditors who perform tasks in a professional manner.
He explained that his side also evaluated the results of the field team's examination, both internal and external evaluations involving auditors from the central BPK.
"If the examination is completed the internal evaluation is conducted in stages involving internal auditors to the central auditor, so the evaluation is really comprehensive," he said again.
He said the evaluation also involves a review team that involves many parties, so the decision to set a WTP opinion is not done one to two people but a team.
"The review team consists of internal auditors of BPK and central auditors who are expert accountants, totaling 12 people, so the decision is made by the team and not one or two people," he said.
