Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Kotabaru Regional Secretary H Eka Saprudin ensured that the development in the "Earth of Saijaan" was on-target through the 1447 Hijri Ramadan Safari.
Eka Saprudin said that Ramadan Safari, as a routine agenda of the local government, serves as a means to strengthen ukhuwah Islamiyah (Islamic brotherhood), strengthening synergy in regional development, and ensure that every program is implemented equitably and on target.
“The district government of Kotabaru remains committed to being present among the community, listening their aspirations and ensuring the the development programs run equitably and on target,” said the Secretary here as reported on Friday.

This continued Ramadan Safari was centered at Jami Ar-Rahman Mosque, Sungai Bali Village, Pulau Sebuku Sub-district.
The Secretary encouraged all elements to work together to maintain regional conducivity, strenthening unity and make this Ramadan a momentum to strengthening values of togetherness, mutual cooperation (gotong-royong) and social awareness.
Accompanied by the Regional Secretary, Chair of the Kotabaru DWP Mrs Risna S Pane Eka Saprudin symbolically handed over various assistance, including Rp3 million in assistance for Individual Productive Economic Business from Social Affairs Office, and assistance for pregnant women and adolescents in the form of healthy food package from Health Office.

Appreciations were presented to new members of Long-Term Contraceptive Method (MKJP) of simultaneous Family Planning service from P3AP2KB Office.
Also handed over a grant of boat engine worth Rp200 million and fishery processing, marketing, and collecting equipment worth Rp100 million from the Fisheries Office.
