Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Regent of Kotabaru H Muhammad Rusli inaugurated the board of Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement Team (TP-PKK) and Tilawatil Quran Development Institute (LPTQ) for the 2025-2029 period.
The Regent said that Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement Team has an important role in encouraging the regional development.
"The PKK driving team has an important role in assisting regional government in improving family welfare through its 10 main programs. Its existance is very strategic in fostering families, strengthening role of women, and increasing social and economic resilience of the community," he said in Kotabaru, Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the Tilawatil Quran Development Institute is said to have a central role in fostering the religious life of community, especially in effort to produce Quranic generation who are not only good in reciting Al-Qur'an, but also able to apply it in daily life.

"I hope that chairs and all boards of TP-PKK and LPTQ Kotabaru, who have just been inducted to immediately pepare a synergic working programs that directly touches the needs of society. Keep on innovating, work with your heart, and make it the main force in running every program," he pointed out.
"Kotabaru District Governmen will continue to provide full support for activities of TP PKK and LPTQ, in realizing a prosperous, empowered, and religious society," he added.
Chairwoman of Kotabaru TP-PKK Suci Anisa said the organization will continue to innovate and makes new breakthroughs that have a direct impact on the community.
"The role of TP PKK is increasingly important, especially in facing various social challanges in the society, from stunting, mother and child health, family resilience, economic empowerment, to environmental issues," she said.
She invited all administrators to strengthen coordination, preparing a program that touches the needs of the community, and making creative innovations in accordance with the condition of the beloved region of Kotabaru.
TP-PKK Kotabaru is chaired by Suci Anisa, with Deputy Chair I Siti Hadijah, and Deputy Chair II Risna S Pane dan.
Meanwhile, LPTQ Kotabaru has the Kotabaru Regional Secretary as its General Chairperson, Daily Chairperson Drs H Bahrudin, Chairperson I Dr H Nurzazin, Chairperson II Head of the Kotabaru Board of People's Welfare, Chairperson III Dr H Ahmad Ismail Fani.
