Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Kotabaru Legislative Council in South Kalimantan has received a total 570 proposals collected during the third phase recess in various regions in Bumi Saijaan (Kotabaru's nickname).

This was announced by the Speaker of the DPRD Suwanti when chairing a plenary session to present the final report on the recess results.

"The number of proposals was accumulated from the recess in four selected electoral districts (Dapil)," she said in Kotabaru, Wednesday.

Suwanti then detailed the number of proposals submitted to DPRD members covering electoral district 1 totaling 283, 82 proposals for electoral district 2 , 76 for electoral district 3, and 129 for electoral district 4.

Based on these proposal collected during the recess in 1 to 4 electoral districts, it was then concluded that the priorities proposals included infrastructure, social welfare, and public services.

"Al the input and hopes from the constituents are a mandate that we will strive to follow up," she said.She assured that these proposals will be followed up. a meeting with commission and budget committee will be held with the government agencies and related partners to ensure that their proposals are accomodated in regional development planning.
