Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Indonesian Civil Servants Corps (Korpri) in collaboration with the Kotabaru Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) and the Indonesian Shooting Sport Association (Perbakin) held a shooting championship among regional work units (SKPD).
Head of Kotabaru BKPSDM Anang Muhammad Zen said the competition aims to foster togertherness among state civil servants (ASN), strengthen ties, and to promote interest and talent in shooting sports in the district.
“22 SKPDs represnting 28 teams compete here. In addition to competition, it is also to promote shooting sports to the public and strengthening partnership between government and sports organizations,” he said here on Monday.

The shooting championship was held to coincide with the 54th anniversary of Indonesian Civil Servants Corps.
Several competition were held, including exhibition pistol airsoftgun and speed benchrest metal silhouette.
Deputy Regent of Kotabaru Syairi Mukhlis appreciated the Kotabaru board of Korpri for organizing the event to foster togetherness, sportmanship, and solidarity among ASN.
“The 54th anniverary of Korpri is a momentum to strengthen professionalism, integrity, and performance of civil servants in providing services to the public. Through this event, we not only train agility and focus, but to build a healthy competitive spirit and strengthen ties among regional government agencies,” he said.
The opening ceremony was also attended by Regional Secretary of Kotabaru H. Eka Saprudin, members of Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda), head of SKPDs within the Kotabaru Regency Government, invited guests, and all championship participants.
