Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - A gold mining company PT Pelsart Tambang Kencana (PTK) collaborates with Banian community health center or puskesmas ini Sungai Durian Sub-district, Kotabaru, to educate posyandu cadres to implement the Primary Service Integration (ILP) life cycle pattern.
This is posyandu (integrated health service post) transformation from previously serving babies and pregnant women separately, now serving the entire life cycle from babies, teenagers, pregnant women and elderly at one time.
The company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Dindin Suryadi hopes that this training can improve the quality of Posyandu ILP service, bringing great benefits to communities.
The activity was part of health development program for communities around the company.
PT PTK is a national private company engage in gold mining in Sungai Durian Sub-district and Pamukan Barat Sub-district, Kotabaru.
Until now, the company is still in the construction stage and has not yet started production stage.

Debby Wahyudi, representative of Sungai Durian Sub-district Head, said collaboration between village government and posyandu cadres is needed to create a healthy community.
The cadres are expected to increase their knowledge about health of mothers, children to elderly, so they can have a positive impact on the village health development.
Head of Buluh Kuning Village Sawaludin hopes that each participant of the training can apply their knowledge to be closer to the community.
Head of Gendang Timburu Village Yunuari asked posyandu cadres to increase their skills in providing quality service and understand their role in preventing and controllng disease in the society.
Head of Bunian Puskesmas dr Lita Susanti said that this training is important for posyandu cadres in improving community health service and to be professional partners in providing health services.
Posyandu ILP training participant Nurjanah said that there was a progress as posyandu cadres that they became more confident in carrying out their daily duties.
”We hope that posyandu will receive more support related to facilities and health equipment to support their activities," she emphasized.
The Posyandu ILP training with 25 competencies was held for three days, February 17-19, 2025 at Serba Guna Building in Buluh Kuning Village, Sungai Durian Sub-district, attended by 39 participants from Gendang Temburu Village, Buluh Kuning Village, and Rantau Buda Village.
