Kotabaru, South Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Regent of Kotabaru H. Sayed Jafar handed over official cars for operation to a total 22 village heads in Pulau Laut Kepulauan Sub-district.
"At the end of term as regent, we hand over official cars for village head operations and official vehicles for regional tax collection officers in the sub-district," said the regent as reported on Thursday.
The village head's official car was handed over symbolically in the form of a key to representative of village head.
The 22 official cars were distributed, nine for Pulau Laut Kepulauan Sub-district, eight for Pulau Laut Selatan Sub-district, and five for Pulau Sembilan Sub-district.
The Regent also handed over four two-wheeled official vehicles from the Kotabaru Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda) to regional tax collection officers in the sub-districts of Pulau Laut Kepulauan, Pulau Laut Selatan, Pulau Laut Tanjung Selayar and Pulau Laut Barat.
Head of Assets at the Kotabaru Regional Finan cial and Assets Management (BPKAD) Andi Sofiyandi explained that to facilitate their mobility in serving the community, all village heads are equipped with Suzuki Ertiga Hybird type operational cars.
