Batulicin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - A coal company PT Borneo Indobara (BIB) in Tanah Bumbu District, South Kalimantan, received Indonesia Green Awards (IGA) from La Tofi School of CSR as the organizer of IGA 2024.
"This award thanks to PT BIB's consistency in implementing CSR program to the company's assisted communities," said GM Empowerment and Sustainability of PT BIB Dindin Makinudin in Batulicin, Thursday.
The company won four awards at once. Three categories of them, including organizing corporate social responsibility, developing nature conservation tourism, and saving water resource, received "the prominent" title.
Another award, eco-star, was given also for organizing CSR.

All the programs, he said, were carried out in a structured manner and brought a broad story of change from various approaches and programs carried out.
"This (IGA) award is an achievement and encouragement for PT BIB, especially CSR Division, to continue to provide meaning and ensure independence and sustainability for the surrounding community by collaborating with all parties," said Dindin.
In total, he said, PT BIB received 65 awards in CSR from 2018 to 2024, both national and ASEAN level awards.
Before receiving the award, PT BIB underwent an assessment by Chairman of La Tofi School of Social Responsibility, Director of Partnership of the LHK Ministry, Head of standardization and Industry Service Policy of the Ministry of Industry, and an UI communication professor.
"Alhamdulillah (Thank God) , from the assessment BIB rceived the prestigious IGA award," he explained.
