Batulicin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Batulicin Immigration Office has inked a cooperation agreement with the government of Kotabaru District regarding immigration.
Head of South Kalimantan Office of Directorate General of Immigration Yan Wely Wiguna signed the agreement with the Regent of Kotabaru H Muhammad Rusli.
"The cooperation agreement contains the implementation of immigration services including the issuance of passport and stay permits, which will be carried out directly in Kotabaru," said Head of Batulicin Immigration Office Ferizal here on Sunday.
The services to be provided periodically by the team from the Batulicin Immigration Office with full support from the local government.
Previously, Regent of Kotabaru said that people living in Kotabaru are quite far from Batulicin Immigration Office, so they need time and quite expensive cost when applying for passpost, stay permits, and other services.

Head of South Kalimantan Office of Directorate General of Immigration Yan Wely Wiguna expressed his appreciation for the collaboration has been established.
“This is a real form of synergy betweeen agencies in providing a closer and responsive services to the community. Hopefully this collaboration to continue and become an example of affective public service collaboration in south Kalimantan,” he said.
The signing of this cooperation agreement marks a joint commitment between the Directorate General of Immigration of South Kalimanta Office, the Batulicin Immigration Office, and the District Government of Kotabaru in presenting inclusive, fast, and adaptive public service innovations.
Thisw collaboration is expected to provide a real impact in improving convinience, satisfaction, and quality immigration services for the people of Kotabaru.
Also attending the event were Head of Administration Sub-division Gancar Febryantama, Head of Immigratin Traffic and Stay Permit Yoga Aditya Utama, and Head of Information Technology Informasi and Communication of the Immigration Muhamad Maryadi.
