Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and his entourage landed at Warukin Airport in Tabalong District, South Kalimantan, Saturday afternoon.
VP Gibran was on his journey to Muara Kate Hamlet, Muara Langon Village, Muara Komam sub-district, in Paser District, East Kalimantan.
Tabalong Regent H Muhammad Noor Rifani together with Police Chief AKBP Wahyu Ismoyo and Commander of 1008/Tabalong Military Command Lt. Col. Inf. Budi Galih Sanjaya welcomed the arrival of VP, who was escorted by tight security.
Initially, the eldest son of the seventh President Joko widodo was to visit Muara Kate on Thursday (June 12, 2025), but there was a delay then he arrived on Saturday.
VP Gibran, who was wearing a sky blue shirt landed at Warukin Airport at around 16.30 WITA. He was welcomed by the Regent of Tabalong and elements of the district Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda).
Vice President Gibran and his entourage then took a vehicle to continue their journey to Paser District, East Kalimantan.
A numer of TNI, Polri and the Presidential Guard Force (Paspampres) officers were seen securing the area around Warukin Tabalong Airport.
After visiting Muara Kate, VP Gibran was scheduled to review Bauntung Market in Tanjung, Tabalong Capital, before returning to Jakarta, Sunday (June 15, 2025.
