Batulicin, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Regent of Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan Province, Zairullah Azhar continues his efforts for the welfare of the integrated health post (posyandu) cadres in "Bumi Bersujud" (Tanah Bumbu's nickname) by adding incentives.
"Insya Allah (God Willing) starting this month posyandu cadres will receive an incentive of Rp500,000 per month," he said in Batulicin, Wednesday.
Previously, the cadres of the integrated health post receive Rp200,000 per month, and now it becomes Rp500,000.

The Regent said that the increase of the incentive is to motivate and encourage the cadres to work even better. Especially in handling stunting in their work area.
Meanwhile, Head of the Tanah Bumbu Community and Village Empowerment Office (DPMD) Samsir said that a technical guidance (bimtek) is being held by his office to increase the competence of posyandu cadres in the district.
"A total of 335 participants attending the bimtek for three days in Banjarmasin," he said.
This activity is important to carry out, he said, as a provision and to increase knowledge for posyandu cardes so that they carry out their duties optimally.
Posyandu cadres have an important role because they face and have direct contact with community, especially babies, pregnant women, elderly and others.
