Tanjung, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Manpower Office of Tabalong District, South Kalimantan, has so far provided various skill to 21,714 new entrepreneurs to boost their productivity.
Head of the Office Herwandi here on Wednesday said thousands of the new entrepreneurs spread across 12 sub-district in Tabalong.
“They have been equipped with skills,” he said during a technical guidance to new entrepreneurs in Tanjung, Tabalong District, South Kalimantan, Wednesday.
His office, he said, implemented a skill training program through technical guidance to create new entrepreneurs.
Chief executive of the technical guidance Rina Katrian said that this actiity was the second stage, attended by 30 participants with bread, cake, and sewing business type.
“This technical guidance is our effort to increase knowledge for news entrepreneurs with skills so they can improve their business," she said.
One of the participants from Muara Harus Sub-district, Sarihad, acknowledged that the training provided by the Manpower Office was very useful for running independent business.
"Alhamdulillah (Thank God) my bread business ca run well and its marketing reaches East Kalimantan,"said Sarinad.
Herwandi said the training, such as producing bread packaging, aims to boost their productivity so they can be independent and sustainable in running their business.
"Fo not hesitate to fail and I hope that the new entrepreneurs have been provided with training can be independent," he said.
