Kotabaru, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - Commission III of Kotabaru DPRD conducted a study on health services in Palangkaraya City in a bid to optimize health service in the district.
"We study the health programs implemented by the Palangkaraya Health Office in order to optimize (our) public health services," said Chairman of Commission III Denny Hendro Kurnianto as reported on Saturday.
There were several notes from the Commission III to support the successful implementation of health services, including the fulfillment of human resources need, and the standard health facilities, such as community health center (puskesmas) and hospitals, both the government-owned hospital and private.
Commission III will strive for Universal Health Coverage (UHC) in 2023 with a minimum of 95% integrated Health Care and Social Security Agency (BPJS), and puskesmas with regional public service agencies (BLUD).
Providing social assistance for medication, including accomodation, transport, and medical expense up to abroad for poor commnunities.
By achieving UHC target, everyone can access the quality health services they need without financial difficulties.
