Rantau, S Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Office in Tapin, South Kalimantan, has put seven contruction companies in the blacklist for failing to work on some projects as targeted.
"All the projects are in the 2021 budget. The project contracts that have been terminated were in the fields of Cipta Karya, Water Resources (SDA), and Bina Marga," said head of the office Yustan Azidin, Sunday.
Confirmed to each field, the problem with the contractor not being able to complete the target, one of which was due to poor management.
Head of Cipta Karya Fahmi Rizal said they were four contractors were blacklisted in this field.
The following were buildings and their completion until December 2021: Social Agency (34.5 percent), Satpol-PP and BPBD Office (50.3 percent), Good and Service Procurement Unit Office (34.34 percent), and Bappelitbang Office(31.54 percent).
The total contract value of these unfinished buildings was over IDR31 billion.
"They will be re-autioned sooner to complete (the construction), we have prepared the budget," he said.
Head o Water Resources Mulkan Adli said that two contractors were blacklisted because they failed to complete the contruction of the embankments of Hiyung River and Salak River.
"They have only reached 53 percent of the completion of Hiyung River embankment when the IDR3.5 billion contract was terminated. While the Salak River project with a value of IDR4.9 billion has reached 75 percent. We had given addition time, but it was not completed," he said.
Head of Bina Marga Taufik Hidayat said there was one unfinished project in this field, namely Adipura monument worth IDR3.5 billion.
"The work has reached 48.6 percent, Additional time has been given, but it has not completed. According to the rule and policies, the contract was terminated," he said.
The three heads of fields admitted that the calculation of project achievements was based on the assessment of commitment officer (PPK) and team.
